Comedian and mom Jane lives in Greenwich, Connecticut, but she's still a nice person. She has two teenage boys, otherwise everything's fine. To answer the question comics seem to get the most, yes I write my own stuff. My material is relatively on the clean side but not overly safe. (I use language if it fits into what I'm doing, but very sparingly.) I emphasize being original, and I work toward having an act that is uniquely mine. Strangely enough, I find that audiences of many different make-ups relate to my ideas. I'm happy about that but it confuses me sometimes.

The mid-70’s were a different era, and West Point was admitting a different kind of cadet when Ross was sworn in on July 8, 1975. But by 1977 Ross had decided that he wanted to take aim and fire jokes at nightclub audiences. So he undertook a giant career change, he dropped out of West Point, and landed right square in the middle of the comedy explosion that was taking America by storm.

For 30 years Ross has led a comedy attack. Armed with an expressive delivery and real life topics. Growing up with a father who was a Marine Colonel (a nice mellow guy!), grade school snow days, disastrous golf games, and catastrophic water skiing outings, middle age medical procedures.

Scott teaches the Standup Comedy Workshop at The New School, and his former students include Jon Stewart and Caroline Rhea.
