| DAKOTA is, most appropriately, named after the legendary Dakota Staton. Like her namesake, this Dakota has a voice that’s rich and full and pure as crystal, a range as majestic as the Rockies, and, quite simply, a musical soul. Dakota and her band NYTE have been called “The Rhythm and Soul of New York” creating a sound so electrifying it just about dares you not to jump up and dance.
Musically, Nyte is a match for their amazing lead singer. All three of these equally amazing musicians have been there – and done that! |

It’s apparent, at first glance, that the members are incredibly diverse in their personalities, their manner, and even their ages – but The ODB grooves as one. What’s more, there are no divas to be found here; almost every member of the group sings lead vocals – and all do so in brilliant accordance with their own unique style.
This rock n’ roll band sails with style from Elvis and the Everly Brothers through Motown and the disco era and into 80s pop and the 2000 dance beats. The background harmonies are smooth; the familiar songs keep the crown up and dancing.
